Hi

I really don't know how to start 3D meshing of a slinger..it's bit a complex geometry with lot of holes and edges..I created this model in solid works and imported to gambit as iges file..could any one suggest me the approach in gambit..I have done the tutorials in gambit and but not fully understood all the tools..Thanks in advance for your help..

Hi Max! Thanks a lot. I subdivided the domain and the mesh just worked fine. I have one more query though. When I just had a look at the boundary layer, the skew of the highest element was .92, and when I had a look at the volume mesh ( with the boundary layer attached) the highest skew was .75. Is this normal for it to vary this much?
Also, do you by any chance know about Error Code 101077? I had a few of this in Gambit startup window.

Thanks a lot. You saved me a lot of time. Thank you very much!
