Dear all,

I am working on printed circuit heat exchanger. in order to achieve good meshing, i split the one part into multiple parts. however, in this case, i am getting unnecessary wall creation between parts. Even i grouped all the parts in the named selection under a single name, the walls are created unnecessarily between the individual parts, which actually must be interior. however, to overcome such issues. can grouping parts, help to get rid of these wall creation.

Sounds like you need to "create part" if using design modeler or use shared topology if using Spaceclaim. Then the mesh at the intersection will be a conformal mesh with shared nodes at intersections between bodies.

I divided one component into multiple parts as it accelerates meshing in parallel mode. By doing this, I am getting wall created in between the parts. I thought of converting these walls into interior.

It accelerates meshing because they can mesh however they want, and not have to conform to each other, (and they can also mesh in parallel). But you also lose accuracy as well since grid interfaces would have to be used in between these dis-similar meshes. I would use a conformal mesh if possible.
