in 3D meshing baffle has 1mm thickness, is necessary to remove block inside the baffle, if yes why?

It is not necessary but there's a practical reason for it:
1. If you only focusing on something around the baffle and does not need the mesh inside of it then the simulation will be lighter in a sense there's no need to compute those area. 2. It's an easy way to get the mesh to have an association to nearest surface, you just need to associate the edges and vertices and you are most likely done. If you want to get the mesh in the baffle region, you could create a different part name for it and it will detect that it is a different block and create a surface association to nearest surface automatically |
