Hi. I am a complete beginner at Ansys. I want to fill a solid square with hollow spheres. The patterning doesn't work here. I even tried doing each hollow sphere manually(Primitive->Sphere->Cut Material), but that doesn't work. What would be the effective approach to filling a solid square with hollow spheres?

Create spheres as frozen bodies apart from the square block (solid).

After patterning the spheres according to your requirement, use boolean subtract to remove the volume occupied by the sphere from the square block.

You will get hollow spheres in a single solid square block.
