Hello everyone,
I do optimization using MOGA at ANSYS 22R1 workbench, where I have an array of solid bodies attached to shell181 plate. the parameter of the optimization is the number (n) of the solid bodies rows of the pattern created by Design modular. The problem is when the optimizer creates a new design point that has deferent (n) and hence, new rows of bodies are created , the solver doesn't assign the solid material to the newly created solid boy. And so, the optimization process is stalled. how I can force the solver to assign the required material to any created solid body automatically for each design point ? (i.e) shell181 plate doesn't change at all- I have only two materials, one for solid bodies and the other for the shell181 plate) also, I need to assign meshing options for the generated bodies.
