Hello there,
I have a small question regarding the meshing of an centrifugal impeller with a y+=~1. In the provided images you can see my current mesh. I marked the area I'm a bit unsure about how to refine this region. I directly specify my estimated Reynolds Number and my desired y+ value of 1 (see the mesh data). Also, I activated "Target Mesh Expansion Ratio" which I set equal to 1.15. But, for me, the marked area does not have an expansion ratio of max. 1.15. I don't know if my TG Version (2022 R1) has a bug or this setting is working different than I assume. I would really like to add more cells into this region, so the expansion ratio is better. Am I missing something here ? Maybe you can help me. I can't imagine that this is so hard - but still, I don't know how to solve this issue. Thank you very much in advance for any tips and tricks! Greetings Daniel |
