Hello all,

I've been following a tutorial on how to create an O-grid mesh on a cylinder geometry (https://youtu.be/8_osCXZjv_g) and it worked well. However, when applying this same technique on a cylinder with a 90 degree bend I don't get something as nice as for the straight cylinder.

Here's what I get for the cylinder with the bend:

And here is what I get for the straight cylinder:

The dimensions of the circle at the base of each cylinder are different, but I have kept the ratios between the size of the square and the size of the circle similar.

Any ideas on why this happens and how to solve it?

Thanks!

Actually I managed to solve this by setting up an edge sizing on both the square in the middle and on the edges on the sides of the pipe. I had tried this before posting initially but I guess I hadn't set up the right parameters in the number of divisions.

By the way as I mentioned in the first I had originally kept the same ratio of the square to the circle diameter as in the tutorial, but it seems if I take one slightly different it doesn't work as well:

So once again I'm stuck. Tried playing with different edge sizing but with no luck this time

siw will become famous soon enough
Did you check the lower two edge biasing directions?
