Does anyone have a general idea how can I have hex elements with infilation layers for this geometry? Ansys multizone mesher fails to mesh the geometry and comes up with errors, I've also tried using ICEM and still couldn't manage to mesh it. It is the fluid domain of a FSI analysis. As far as I noticed, the main problem in meshing is the section I have showed with the red box. I suppressed all parts of the geometry and tried to mesh the section with the red box only. The multizone method gives an undesirable hex mesh for the geometry. It wont detect some of the edges and twists elements around that edge.
I'm struggling with this geometry for weeks and still no hope. I appreciate any help and suggestion from you. |

Have you tried to reducing the maximum sizes of the mesh?
