Hello everyone,
I want to create a block structured hex mesh for this geometry in ICEM CFD. Now I have tried to approaches: 1.) Made the entire body into a single flow domain (so that no interfaces are required between different bodies). But doing this when I use blocking then the mesh of the bigger cylinder infiltrates the smaller one like this. 2.) When splitting that CAD Model into multiple bodies and defining interfaces, then ICEM is not reding my interfaces. Could anyone please tell which approach you think I should take, and how to solve the problems with that approach. I've attached images of my flow domain, mesh of 1.) and picture of big cylinder of 2.) where I expected to see the interfaces in ICEM. PS - I don't need interfaces for any kind of calculation. |
