I have been trying to mesh a fin geometry which has been twisted along the z axis. This is making it difficult to generate prism layers.
I am trying the bottom-up meshing approach. I generate the surface mesh and then try to generate the prism mesh, but prism mesh always fails. Another alternative I tried is: I generated the surface mesh on the bottom surface and generated prism layer on the bottom surface as shown in the picture and tried extruding them along the fin surface and was successful. After this step, when I tried to generate the volume mesh using Delauney method, it fails again. Any suggestions on how to get prism layes will be appreciated. |
