I'm a complete beginner to ICEM and I've been following this tutorial to Hexa mesh an airfoil.
The tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVyvEH-u0wQ&t=555s What I get and He gets after pre-meshing is completely different. Could anyone help me with where I had possibly gone wrong? Also at 10:45 on the video, he creates a new surface named Leading edge and he is able to choose the small part of the airfoil curve but when I select I'm able to choose only the entire curve. Someone, please help me with the issue. It would be great if you could replicate it and help me out. |

Hello,
You need to delete the blocking inside of the airfoil, then re-mesh. To make a leading edge, add some points along that curve (either by location or give it a parameter where you want the points to appear), then use the segment curve, then select the curve and the points where you want to split it. |
