Hello,
I am new to CFD and I'm looking to duplicate my mesh by mirroring about the x-axis. I am running simulations in SU2 which to my knowledge only supports .su2 and .cgns mesh files. I have a .cgns mesh file that I'm looking to modify in ICEM. I imported the .cgns file to ICEM where I have then mirrored the mesh, although I am not clear on how to export it back out as a CGNS file suited for SU2. I would appreciate some help on this matter which I appreciate is maybe quite trivial, I'm still learning my way through CFD. Many thanks Royce |

Hello Royce,
Select the 'Output Mesh' tab at the top -> select the 'Select Solver' option (it's the red toolbox) -> Output Solver (hit the drop down arrow): CGNS The go to Write Input (still in Output Mesh tab, last one on the right), select any scaling and/or other options and the click Done. Will save your file as a .cgns. |
