Good afternoon,
I'm an engineering student working on my master thesis regarding performances of air jet nozzles: specifically I'm trying to simulate the internal flow in the volume represented by figure 1. What I would like to obtain is an Hex structured mesh with inflation near the boundaries across the whole volume: slicing the body and inserting a multizone method for inlet and conical sections I was able to achieve, what I think is, a good mesh (figure 2). Anyway if I unsuppress the rest of the body of the nozzle and try to mesh it, the software fails... It's the first time I'm approaching this kind of simulations so I'm completely open to all of yours suggestions or advices and I apologize in advance if I'm missing something that is obvious. Thanks again for all the kind help. Best regards, Francesca |
