Hello everyone, first time posting on this forum,
I have been tasked to make a simulation using ansys as part of my internship, but I've never used the software before and only started using and learning by myself several days ago. Nobody in my lab can actually help me so I decided to seek help here. Here is my problem : I want to delimit a circle surface on a bigger rectangular face (see attached picture). I've created a plane from the face and created a circle sketch on it. I've then tried using the face split function, but I can't use the circle as the tool geometry. My guess is that face split must completely separate the face into two different faces, and cannot "create holes" in faces for topological reasons. I am therefore stuck and need your help to solve this issue. Thank you in advance for your time and answers. |
