Hi Folks,
I'm a little stuck with my current mesh. Its got a complicated geometry and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how I could improve the meshing. I have ran it on a rotational Re of 1e7 and it does not converge. After many meshing changes, I still could not get it to converge. I have tried reducing the Rotational Re to 1e6 and it just about works, but I need tohave it at 1e7. Let me know what you think. |

In the images I cant see a complex geometry at all. Is that just a cut view?
Your cells are very flat and the grow ratio away from the refined region seems to be quite big. Can you not just avoid the huge elements and add more cells along the edges? The refined regions seem ok and the blocking looks fine from what I can see. |
