I want to apply a force at the center of a cylinder that generated by CYLIND command and I hope there is a node at the center after meshing but there is not.So what I can do to define a node in this location and make it be one of the element node after meshing.I tried to generate the cylinder by define a circle in mid height and extrude it in both positive and negative direction and the center of the circle is generated by the intersection of two diameter lines. But there is still no such a node I can use to apply load.

Either split up the geometry to make a vertex or use Virtual Topology to place a virtual vertex where you want the node to be. Then use a patch conforming method to make a node at the free vertex.
