I used to be able to import NX generated model into ICEM and saved as a tin file. The process worked fine in pre-v16 ICEM versions. However, after moving to v18 (i also tried v19), the model importing always gives me the error of
ERROR: pIPartMgr->AttachAssembly() failed! But it works fine if I open NX in advance!!! I have checked the internet and someone suggests changing settings in the CAD configuration tool. There are only 2 settings for NX: either "reader (CAD installation is not required)" or "Workbench associative interface". I tried both and no luck with this problem. Both settings requrie a NX to be started in advance. Is there anyway that I could import a NX generated model into ICEM without running NX side by side? Environment: NX11, ICEM v19.2 on Win10 |
