After adding inflation I'm getting this error - "Inflation created stairstep mesh at some locations." and the mesh quality is decreasing. What can I do here to improve the mesh quality? I am tinkering with gap factor and maximum angle (lowering their values) and it helps but only to a certain degree. |

Hi Hitesh,
You have two options. Either play around with the inflation options (first layer height, growth rate, max height over base, etc...) or you can also split your geometry in design modeller / spaceclaim > form new part / component, then assign a multizone method to the triangular shaped bodies with an inflation. Have fun |

So rest of the body tetrahedral but triangles as multizone? Wouldn't this lead to issues because of tet to hex transition. I have tried this before and the results were not great |
