Hi everyone,
I am workıng on an internal pipe flow problem so i generate my geometry in Design Modeler and then send it to ICEM to observe flow better. After i give node numbers and ratios, convert it to unstructured mesh. Finally, send ICEM mesh to Fluent solver but dimensions doesn't match with one that i decided in Design modeler. Also, i realized some differences in ICEM too. Diameter in Design Modeler: 0.5 mm Diameter in ICEM : 0.500000002374872 mm Diameter in Fluent : 0.4995726 mm Do you know where this mismatch comes from? Being exact is very important for this geometry. I scaled dimensions in Fluent but i am suspicious about any remaining fractions or disruption in the mesh caused by this scaling function.
