Hello, I'd like to ask a general question, how to mark the different parts with different color? I need to put some fancy pictures of the mesh in my thesis, but have no idea how to do that.
Here I can put an example, like this: Unbenannt.jpg Someone can help me, thank you! |

In the outliner (tree overview of the simulation) you can assign a color to boundaries, domains or mesh regions by making a RMB-click on the part you want and choose Render->Color-> and whatever you want.

Clear! That is done only in the post not in the mesh module. Thanks.

Hm ok, but can't you just run a mock up simulation with 1 timestep, take the res file and create your images from there?
Or, I think its even possible to load a def file into post. Then its easier to create a mock up setup save it as solver input file and load that into post. |
