rsdevako is on a distinguished road
Hello all,

I would like to learn on how to create a conformal mesh in ICEM CFD for Conjugate Heat transfer applications.

I have a modest experience in meshing in ICEM CFD for a single part bodies - domains containing only fluids.

I am working on a course project and it would be really great if someone could tell me the way to go about in learning CHT structured meshing in ICEM.

Thanks.

bluebase will become famous soon enough
Hi Ramaswamy,

do you have access to the tutorials of ICEM? This would be a good way to start learning how to do this.

Best regards,
Sebastian

You will create confomral meshes for multiple fluids in same way as you do for single fluid.

But as per Fluent recommendation it is better to use interfaces between solid and fluid. As we dont need much fine mesh in solid part. Please go through those parts of user guide or tutorial in Fluent documentation
