Hello all,
I have a question regarding modelling a 3D geometry. I want to model a 3D circular plate with certain thickness which looks similar to that in the picture (indicated in red colour) in the link which I have attached in this Query. https://ranggalalitaprobonegari.word...obal-buckling/ As the image shown here is a 2D, I want the exact geometry of a circular Plate with a bend in the centre in 3D using ANSYS workbench. (If it is not possible via ANSYS kindly also let me know other CAD Softwares for this geometry design) I kindly ask you, Is there any possibility to design such geometry using ANSYS workbench, If so please let me know the procedure to do so. The dimensions known are: 1.The radius of the plate. 2. The height from the base line to the center of the plate. 3. Length of the clamped edge on both the sides. Best regards Vani Last edited by vani; February 25, 2019 at 12:08. Reason: wrong link posted |
