Hello
I am interested in doing my thesis on patient specific cfd simulation in Ansys fluent. I'm totally new with this software. So, for my thesis purpose first I reconstructed the ct image of patient using mimics and 3matic software. After doing this if I import the stl or step file in ansys fluent geometry, only the surface is detected. But I need the solid body or volumetric entity for meshing. Can anyone help me how can I import the reconstructed volumetric data in design modeler of ansys fluent?

I've also tried importing cdb file but my ansys was unable to read the file(ansys 18.1)

It would be really great if anyone can help me

Thank in advance

Regards
Noushin
