Hello all,
I am wondering if it is possible to cause Prism Layers in a refined area to adapt to the Total height of the Prism Meshing Parameters, or similar. I have created prism layers to conform with hexahedral surface elements, as I am merging an unstructured tet mesh with three structured hexa meshes. However, due to a small fillet I have to refine the tet mesh locally and when I generate the prism layers they become "squished" in this region. Is there any way I can make them have a larger height? So far I have tried setting total height and setting a high Max Size Ratio, but it does not seem to work. I have scoured Simon's tips & tricks but to no avail. The only way I can get the prisms evenly sized is by refining the entire surface mesh, but then I get problems with matching the layers with the quads. I have attached an image of what it looks like and what I want it to look like below. Thanks! |
