Hello everyone,

I'm not very familiar with DM's interface and I did look through tutorials / demo videos but couldn't find a solution to this. When creating a domain for a symmetrical hollow object, what tools would one use to ensure the domain is 'complete' at the plane of symmetry?

In the attached .jpg , for instance, I would like to achieve a quarter spherical shell along with a 'wall' where the plane intersects the hemisphere. I did try symmetry/ slicing and boolean operations but couldn't achieve this . I do realize I could just create the intended geometry to start with but I'm looking to apply a known technique to a more complex domain.

Thank you .
