Unable to perform a volume mesh using quick (delaunay) method. The main error reading as follows:
Error: tri2tet terminated prematurely No tri2tet mesh generated! Here are the main aspects of my domain. -The cylindrical length of my domain is 9 times the length of my rocket. -I originally performed a tetra/mixed mesh using the robust (octree) method. -I then proceeded to delete the volume elements, leaving only the surface mesh around the rocket body. -Smoothed out global elements iterating with Laplace smoothing on edge length. -Created two density boxes extending from the base of the rocket. The first density box was the same length and width as the rocket, while the second is about 6 times the length, and twice as thick. Does anybody know what may be causing this? |

Hi,
did you check, whether you have enough memory on your computer? Is you work directory writeable? You may find some help in the following threads: icem cfd tetra meshing error surface mesh merging problem ICEM meshing - Tips from forum - Collection |
