I'm trying to export a block (ie. structured) mesh from ICEM to CFX. I've selected "ANSYS CFX" inside Solver Setup.
When I go to "Write Input", I get the standard screen that the ANSYS help doc has, then I get a file explorer windows asking for me to give it a unstructured mesh file (.uns). Any idea how to do this? |

I spoke too soon. Took just a few minutes more Googling.
According to this Forum post, I just needed to go File>Mesh>Load from Blocking. I was trying to output the pre-mesh when I needed to turn the pre mesh into an actual mesh. Doing that created the ".uns" file that was needed. |
