I am curious to know different points of view on a hot topic: the number of layers in the inflation for the boundary layer, expecially in turbulent simulations and in regions with separated flow.
I saw very very different opinions on this topic: the default value on Ansys is 5, but someone suggests 10 or 12 as a good compromise, someone else suggests bigger values and at least 20 or 25...
So, I saw and read very very different opinions, but I noticed that nobody supports its opinion with a reference in literature or with papers and documents.
Is there anyone with a good reference on this topic?
