Help creating contact regions

Hello!
I'm "learning" Ansys and was meshing when I came up with the next problem: I have two bodies, a square of 4x4 and a square 2x2 inside of the first one. It's an imported geometry, the meshing software doesn't dectect the contact regions between the solids and I want to use the opcion called "Contact sizing" to refine the mesh in the contact zone. I know I can create a contact region between the bodies but it doesn't work (probably because I don't know to use contact region opcion at all). Can someone help me? Thanks! |

I guess you're looking for the so-called conformal meshing which is important in contact regions, if so you gotta go ahead and select feature "form a new part" in design modeler, then mesh software will automaticaly recognise the contact region |
