Hello!
I'm trying to mesh rear wing of a racing car in Fluent and I'm having some problems understanding Scoped Sizing. The plate's edges are rounded in order to obtain acceptable prisms quality. Every sizing is scoped to label of an object. Rear wing is the object, label is an endplate. Geometry of the label is in the image "geometry.png". When I choose curvature scoped sizing, whole plate is meshed with minimum specified size. Face boundary option results in sizing shown in the image "face-boundary.png". Face-face option gives the most meaningful results, show in the image "face-face.png". However, there is an unwanted refinement near the region where the actual wing is. Is there any way to remove influence of the wing on the refinement on the outside of the endplate? |
