Hello everyone.
I have the problem with Ansys Meshing tool. I am using Ansys 19.0 under Linux (OpenSuse), Academic License. If I do a project from scratch, I can use all tools on each step without any problems: DesignModeler, Meshing, etc. The project can be related to Ansys Fluent or Ansys Mechanical (other tools have not been tested yet). But if I have opened the Meshing tool, done something (and closed), I cannot open it again for some reason. That means that it is opened but inactive and does not respond. The only one known way is to kill the application and never open the Meshing tool for the current tool. Does anyone had similar problems? I would like to know whether this problem is related to the License, to the Linux, or to the Ansys itself. I worked with other versions of Ansys on different machines and clusters and did not face this problem. I attach the screenshot with the state when the Meshing tool can be opened (the first time of the use). Thank you. Best regards, Mikhail |
