Hi, I'm new to Ansys, and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction on how to solve an error i encountered. I downloaded Ansys Student 18.2 using Windows 10, and am attempting to perform a steady state thermal analysis of a rectangle, however when i open Ansys Mechanical the application crashes. I've attached a screen shot of the errors generated. I'm following a tutorial so I'm sure it's software related. Any help is greatly appreciated. I've tried reinstalling the program, and installing the program on a different computer, but no luck.

I've got some ideas:

1) please use DesignModeler instead of the SpaceClaim
2) Check if the geometry file that you are trying to import exist
3) check if you produce the Body in geometry program - maybe you've got only surfaces
