Hello,

I am very new to using ANSYS, I have tried using other resources before asking this question.

So I am currently trying to simulate an external flow over a simplified semi truck. The problem arises when I try to use enclosure to define the computational domain. I set up the origin to align with the bottom of the wheel so that I can use symmetry to simulate the ground.

I also tried drawing a rectangle and extruding it to fit my flow domain, but I also resulted in the same dreadful comment

"Error: Operation would result in non-manifold bodies
Context: Geometry Engine, while generating Feature Enclosure6"

I know the problem is the wheels since I had no problem setting up the symmetry plane without it, but with them I keep getting the error message.

I am attaching the file in case anyone can shed some light on what I can do to fix this.

Thank you

Since the tires are tangential to the ground, I am having this problem. I dug around a bit more and saw that other people have sagged their tires to avoid the problem.

Is there any other method to go around that? or is tire flattening an acceptable approach?
