How to define a 'prism' wall when using unstructured mesh for an artery geometry

I have imported an stl file of a coronary artery and I need to mesh it for use in Fluent. When following the steps in the tutorial manual the mesh gives me tris at the wall and tetras in the centre. I am looking for a way to edit the mesh so that a clear prism wall layer is defined. Or at least the edges of the unstructured mesh are refined near the wall.
