I am doing some tutorials for ansys but the version shown in the tutorial is v15 and I am using v18. Most of the time I can figure out the new layout but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to import a coordinate file in v18. There is no concept tab I can click on to get to 3D curve. I am trying to use a .txt file. Any help would be appreciated. It uses Space Claim.

Not sure how to create 3D curve from coordinate file in Space Claim - tried that and failed. However you can still use Design Modeler instead of Space Claim - just right click on the geometry in project schematic and choose Design Modeler.
I hope that solves the problem Last edited by sultzan; October 28, 2017 at 11:11. |
