Hello everyone,
I want to simulate a rear wing of a car. To reduce the mesh, I simulate only 10% of the wing broadness. The problem I have: I don't want the air to flow on the side of the wing, the air should just flow about and below the wing. How can I get this boundary conditions? The enclosure only takes values of >0... Is it possible with symmetry settings? I haven't found any solution. PS: 2D isn't possible because of irregularities on the wing. thanks in advance |

Hi Thomas,
Well you could still use the enclosure tool with an arbitrary value for the out of plane domain you don't want (>0). Then create 2 planes at both extremities of your wing geometry and slice the enclosure. You can then suppress those parts and you'll end up with what you're looking for. Have fun |
