Dear All,
I am beginner of ICEM. I was using GAMBIT to mesh before. Please go through the attachemnts (2 stl files). The geometry is interface on the woven screen. Interface is in "filename.stl" and wires in "fibers.stl" . I want to cut the surfaces in "fibers.stl" using "filename.stl". And delete the part in the lower z-direction(in corodinate axes). These are things I did: 1) I merged both the stl files 2) Geometry > Create/Modify Surface > Segment/Trim Surface/By angle>selected both the surfaces> Apply These gave me total five surfaces four wires (green color in screen.jpg) and one interface. 3) Create/Modify Curve/Surface Surface Intersection/Selected two surface (one wire and interface) This create a curve. Question: Now I want to trim the screen using the curve in (3) I the same way as (2) but instead angle > I changed to curve. But it is not working. Any kind of help is greatly appreciable. Thanks, |
