Hello everyone,
I am trying to simulate the 2d flow in a duct that has the geometry in the attached picture. I was told to do the blocking also as seen in the picture such that the near the wall an o grid is present. I have tried many different approaches to achieve this type of blocking however i fail to generate a plausible mesh. I was able to generate the blocking seen in the 1.png and the mesh seen in 2.png but the way i generated those includes some deleting and regenerating of blocks in the other parts of the geometry. This then gives the problem in the mesh, some unnecessary mesh lines (probably remaining from older relations) occur. Furthermore the mesh at the wall is not really an o grid. I always seem to have problems with the o grid generation such that when i select the faces that should not have o grid the neighboring blocks are included inside the o-gridding. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions to give? Thanks in advance |
