Hi guys! I have a problem with meshing, I'm trying to follow PEMFC tutorial using ICEM to do meshing - no matter how hard I tried - i was not able to do this with build-on meshing tool. However as you can see I have some weird holes in my mesh, I know it can be fixed using repair geometry tool with marked option 'Split surface at T-connections' but I would like to understand whether it's gonna affect on my results (as I see the channel walls' mesh was signed to the current, where previously both of them had meshed walls - basically it is shown on the last screenshot). According to the tutorial 'Multiple eges' problem is not really important and I shouldn't be bothered by that.
I assume that problem is that this is assembly of 9 parts with lines (edges) and corner points interfering on each other. Last question - isn't something wrong with my mesh quality - it looks way too good (3rd picture). |
