How to set the shroud diameter in Blade Generator

Hello,
I don't understand how to set the shroud diameter dimension when I design an AXIAL impeller in Blade Generator. I think that when I design the blade in the meridional window of BG (trace of the leading edge, trace of the trailing edge and so on...) these geometric parameters are all BLADE parameters and affect the geometry of the blade. How can I constrain the shroud geometry (in particular the blade tip/ shroud gap)? In Turbo Grid there's an option which shorten the blade in order to create a gap between the shroud and the blade tip, but this way the blade geometry changes! I need to introduce the gap between the blade tip and the shroud WITHOUT modifying the blade geometry and especially its radial extension. I really hope I have been clear enough to let you understand my problem. Thanks so much for helping me... |
