Hi everyone,
I am trying to generate a good quality mesh using turbogrid ATM method. I ran a tutorial file of rotor 37 following the tutorial instructions and was successful in generating mesh without error. But when i zoomed in on shroud region of mesh i found my mesh elements are not matching on both sides of blade, even i could locate some holes and overlaps of mesh elements at meeting junction at shroud region.
I have attached screen snipping below.
t5.PNG (Elements not matching)
holes.PNG (Holes at junction)

overlaps.PNG (Holes and overlaps at junction)

Even i tried generating mesh for different blade profile, but in every case i ended up getting the same problem.

After going through user manual for turbogrid, i found the way turbogrid creates mesh is "passage centric" and then it converts the mesh into "balde centric". (p101 user manual)

I don't understand how to resolve this problem and how the solver is going to compensate for these errors.
Is the solver is going to solve in the same manner i.e. solving grids for 'passage centric' instead 'blade centric' ?

Please can anyone could comment on this. Any help would be of much value.

Thankyou
