Hello everone;
I'm pretty new in CFD and i'm studying on my master thesis. My thesis contains mainly radiator internal and external CFD simulation but i have a problem while meshing. As you can see from figures I shared, inflation layer has stairstep at some location. I have already tried to set curvature Normal Angle as 180deg and my span angle setting is fine. Do you have any idea or recommendation to solve this problem? Thanks! Ps: Sorry for images i share, they are not screeshots, they were taken by camera because of my computer connection problems. |

Kinda looks like not all of the edges would be defined with inflation. Does the perimeters consist of one or several edges? The geometry has one sharp corner in the fourth picture, which can prove out to be troublesome. Try to vary also the number of layers and the transition between the layers in order to confirm that Meshing actually can produce boundary layers into the volume. Be sure to also check if the inflation is actually inside the volume instead of the volume (use a clip).
