[ANSYS Meshing] Geometry limitation cause meshing to fail

Default Geometry limitation cause meshing to fail

I'm simulating a fluid flowing through obstacles in a pipe (for better understanding, have a look at the 2nd picture). As shown in the 1st picture, the edges of the obstacles actually 'pop' out of the pipe. The diameter of both the pipe and obstacles are the same. In real application, the obstacles are actually conducting heat from the wall of the pipe. Is it possible to force the meshing without introducing a gap between the obstacles and the pipe (so that the heat conduction can be retained)?
