Dear all,

On my desktop I am experiencing a problem with the Ansys Mesher module (version 17.1). When i try to mesh a geomtry I get the following error: "an inter-process communication error occurred while communicating with the MESHER module. In some cases I get an error that the AnsMeshingServer.exe has stopped working.

My system has 16 gb of memory, the meshing module is working on my laptop which has 8 gb of memory (both running on windows 7). I tried to reinstall but it did not solve the problem.

The problem on my desktop occurs at both fine and coarse meshes.

Does anyone have the solutions for this problem?

(Ansys Meshing 15.0 is working without any problems)

Kind regards,
Rob

I would recommend reporting a bug to the distributor. It might be something without a workaround.
