Dear ICEM users,
I am trying to create blocks with different refinement. For this reason I am using the utility Blocking->Pre-Mesh Params->Refinement. The problem here is that I want to have different number of cells only in the one dimension and the "refinement dimension" is not working. When is 1 apply the refinement in both direction and when is 0, it is not apply at all (check the picture below). In the examined block all the edges have "Edge dimension = J" and probably this is the source of the problem ( as in blocks where some edges have dimension J and some other I , the utility is working properly). Is it possible to change the "edge dimension" of the an edge and if yes how? Thank you a lot in advance, Tasos. P.S : you can see the edge dimension if you click edges->show edge Link for photo: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lpye4su90i6mv69/help.jpg?dl=0 |
