hunger is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone!

I want to model combustion in a chamber with 10 burners. These burners have exactly the same geometry, so I would like to use "Instance Meshing" to copy the mesh from one burner to the others.
Unfortunately Instance Meshing is not available when "Shared Topology" is enabled (which is necessary because I have got a multibody geometry and I want to create a conformal mesh for my Fluent simulation).

My geometrical pattern of the burners is produced using Space Claim Direct Modeler.
Does a switch to the DesignModeler solve this problem (I have read that it should be possible with the "Automatic" option for shared topology)?

Any help is very much appreciated!

P.S.: I am using Ansys R180.

Best regards,
Harald
