Hi,
I have a closed surface mesh that I generated out of .stl file and I tried to create the volumetric mesh using Octree. My volumetric mesh result comes out of my smooth surface mesh and the results is very bad and Jagged . |

I had the same problem and I solved it partially. In my case it was due to the geometry problem. The surfaces wasn't connected and flood created mesh outside the model. For higher mesh sizing (which was hardly acceptable, but was) meshing was perfect. Try to decrease the tolerance of geometry (1e-9) maybe it will help. If some one know this topic better I'm very interesting in solutions.
btw I guess you created the BODY region, didn't you? |
