Hello,
I want to design a geometry and subsequently use it to do a couple field analysis, static structural and transient analysis. I have a Micro Composite Patch(85*28*0.3 mm) that has a piezoelectric property which is glued on top of a Carbon Fibre Reinforced polymer beam(400*45*1 mm). I developed the model in MAPDL and tried to sweep mesh the two volumes. But one volume(CFRP) would not mesh. Please provide suggestions. |

Were you able to solve your problem with Ansys meshing?

yes, I managed to solve it. But I still am looking into the problem of how to model a piezoelectric patch on a composite material . I have seen different videos on youtube, tutorials and all but not really helping.
