I am having issues with a mesh I am trying to generate I am trying to split the edge so that the corners with two edges attached on to them, I can move one of the edges onto the centre of the square in the picture. Its a bit difficult to explain but hopefully you can see from the picture

can you see the verticies that have 3 edges attached (where the mesh is horrific) I am looking to improve the mesh by splitting the edges for the square so i can have 2 edges on each vertex a bit like the picture i have attached but it has not fixed the edges
