Airfoil edge sizing mesh generation problem

Hello everyone,
I am trying to create a mesh so i can solve the case "flow around an airfoil" using Ansys. I already created the geometry and divided it in 6 faces. Then for the mesh i used edge sizing (see Mesh_sizing.png). All the edges going towards the airfoil have : Number of divisions = 50 Behavior = Hard Bias type = (depends the line) Bias option = Bias Factor Bias Factor = 150 The rest faces are divided the same way but with no bias. I also use Mapped Face Meshing with Method = quadrilaterals However when generating the mesh it is like the edge sizing is not being considered as a parameter. The result i get when i generate the mesh is (see Wrong_mesh.png). The boundary of the mesh as seen (see Zoom.png) is divided how i want but the lines are not connected with the dots. What i would expect is something like this (right_mesh.png). Does anyone know how to fix this ? Thank you in advance |
